Internship Samples
This page contains multiple samples of work that I created during my time as an intern at the OSU New Product Development Center. As the multimedia and technology intern, I was tasked with creating informational videos and graphics for use on our website. I also created and managed the office's first social media accounts and built a niche interest audience of over 150 followers.
Inventions vs. ideas
The NPDC maintains a program called the Inventor's Assistance Service. A common misconception for some is where the line is drawn between an invention that can be patented and an idea that needs to be developed. This video was created to provide some insight to this concept. This video was created using Powtoons.
Information about patents
One goal that a large number of clients at the NPDC have is to hold a patent on their product. There can be many misunderstandings about what protection different kinds of patents provide. This was created to provide more information about patents. This video was created using Powtoons.
Flowchart graphic
This was a graphic created for use in a grant proposal for the NPDC. It showcases the flow of support to and from NPDC's partners. It also shows the role each location plays in the success of the NPDC and the unique services the Tulsa, Stillwater and Okmulgee branches offer.
